The IT Technician, Level 2 is responsible for providing both remote and onsite service and support for customers, addressing a wide range of technology needs. This includes managing workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor-specific hardware and software. The role is critical in ensuring that all technology-related issues are resolved efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall client experience. The position is based at Cutting Edge Network Technologies, a Managed Services Provider located in Winter Park, Florida, which has been operational for over 22 years and has a strong reputation for serving small businesses. In this role, the IT Technician will be expected to support various Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, and Office 365. The technician will also implement and support disaster recovery solutions, such as Veeam, and provide technical services at the network level, including WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, WiFi, and security. Additionally, the technician will support remote access solutions like VPN, Remote Desktop Services, and Citrix. The position requires a proactive approach to improving customer service and satisfaction, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. The technician will manage a daily schedule through ConnectWise, ensuring that all work is documented as service tickets.
