About the position

The IT Technician at API Tech will be responsible for managing support requests related to the vending machine fleet, diagnosing issues, and proposing effective solutions to operational problems. This role involves collaboration with the IT department manager and requires a strong understanding of network and system administration to ensure the smooth operation of IT equipment associated with the vending machines.

Responsibilities

• Respond to after-sales service requests and service calls
• Provide Level 2 technical assistance, escalating issues to Level 3 when necessary
• Conduct remote interventions, assistance, and troubleshooting on distributors' IT equipment
• Manage IT incidents on the dispenser fleet
• Enter and follow up on support tickets
• Draft, provide, and update technical documentation
• Create 'IT' procedures and share them with the team
• Ensure compliance with internal IT charter and standards
• Identify reasons for malfunctions or breakdowns and ensure communication with customers
• Check that implemented solutions are functioning properly
• Refer to supervisor for issues beyond the scope of the position

Requirements

• Good communication skills (listening, oral communication)
• Knowledge of network administration
• Knowledge of system administration
• Basic knowledge of network equipment installation
• Comprehensive knowledge of various types of external equipment
