About the position

We are dedicated to pioneering innovative solutions within our industry and are currently seeking a Tech Services Supervisor who is proficient in QuickBooks, EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), and server management to join our team. This position is pivotal in enhancing our IT infrastructure and warehouse operations, ensuring that our systems are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness. The role does not require managing direct reports, allowing the focus to remain on technical expertise and system management. In this position, you will oversee the maintenance of our IT systems, including QuickBooks and electronic data integration, ensuring they function optimally to support our operations. You will be responsible for auditing transactions and resolving issues through targeted training sessions, collaborating closely with Warehouse in a Box (WIAB) management to address system issues and recommend enhancements. As the primary internal contact for all computer software and hardware issues, you will identify and coordinate with third-party service providers for unresolved IT problems, ensuring that our technology infrastructure remains robust and reliable. Additionally, you will manage our internal telephone and paging systems, addressing any issues and recommending necessary upgrades. Overseeing the surveillance camera systems will also be part of your responsibilities, ensuring effective operation and coordinating with providers to resolve any issues that may arise. This role requires a strong background in technology supervision, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment, and excellent problem-solving skills to manage multiple projects efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance of QuickBooks and EDI systems, ensuring they are optimized for operations.
  • Audit transactions and resolve issues through targeted training sessions.
  • Collaborate with WIAB management to address system issues and recommend enhancements.
  • Serve as the primary internal contact for all computer software and hardware issues.
  • Identify and coordinate with third-party service providers for unresolved IT problems.
  • Recommend and implement upgrades and add-ons to enhance system performance.
  • Manage internal telephone and paging systems, addressing issues and recommending upgrades as needed.
  • Oversee surveillance camera systems, ensuring effective operation and coordinating with providers to resolve issues.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with QuickBooks, EDI, and server management.
  • Strong background in technology supervision, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Strong communication and training skills, capable of working with diverse teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
