About the position

Spectrum is seeking a qualified individual to provide analytical, advisory, and technical expertise in the area of RQ-4 Communications Planning activities. This role involves performing and managing a variety of communication and information technology tasks and activities. The successful candidate will be required to maintain network administrative privileges, which necessitates ongoing training and certification to sustain elevated rights to the AREA52 domain. The position entails performing communications-computer systems (C-CS) planning and implementation activities, ensuring that current and future communications systems are adequately supported. The individual will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of C-CS projects, ensuring that the architecture, configuration, and integration of these systems conform to established standards. This includes providing analytical, technical, functional, and management oversight for critical communications and systems network upgrades and maintenance specifically for the RQ-4 weapon system. The candidate will also serve as a systems analyst and advisor to leadership, providing analytical and advisory support to the 69 RG/CD and 12 RS/CC. Additionally, the role involves facilitating project management efforts directed and approved by 9 RW, 69 RG, and 12 RS to enhance the integration of the RQ-4 into USAF and National architectures, particularly focusing on the AF Distributed Common Ground System (AF-DCGS) and the Department of Defense Global Information Grid (DoD-GIG). The position also includes the administration and support of C-CS laptop computers, managing up to 250 individual issued and loaner laptops for associated units and attached aircrew.
