About the position

The IT Technician at Hansome Energy Systems is responsible for managing, upgrading, and troubleshooting the in-house computer, communication, and security systems that support the manufacturing of electric motors and generators. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficiency and security of the company's technological infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Implement security measures.
• Monitor security certificates and company compliance of requirements.
• Audit system behavior and monitor firewalls to protect sensitive information and uphold cybersecurity protocols.
• Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems.
• Maintain system backups.
• Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems.
• Install, troubleshoot, and update company software and hardware as needed.
• Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items.
• Maintain internet and network connectivity.

Requirements
