About the position

The position is responsible for maintaining system availability, providing effective user support, and managing software applications to ensure smooth operations at CSUSA. The role involves both onsite and remote customer support, monitoring support requests, and maintaining disaster recovery procedures. The technician will also participate in training programs to enhance their skills and ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain system availability of critical and non-essential business systems
  • Provide customer support through onsite presence and remote access
  • Monitor support requests to determine larger-scale issues
  • Inform supervisor of any issue out of the scope or skill range of Technician promptly
  • Maintain disaster recovery and prevention procedures
  • Participate in training programs to increase skill and proficiency
  • Review current developments and technical sources related to job responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to good safety procedures
  • Perform other duties as delegated by Technician Supervisor
  • Follow federal and state laws, as well as company policies

Requirements

  • Associate's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • CompTIA A+ Certified
  • Thorough knowledge of Mac computers
  • 1+ year of experience and/or training in the field related to the title of the position
  • Must be able to transport self to various facility sites as required
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance that meets state standards
  • Experience with complex systems and/or in an educational environment preferred
  • Mastery in Student Information System (SIS) and other software used in the organization
  • Commitment to company values
