About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Technician to join our multi-location medical office team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, as well as providing technical support to users across the organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer hardware and a keen understanding of IT infrastructure, with the ability to work effectively with others. In this role, you will install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware and software, including laptops, desktops, servers, and mobile devices. You will also maintain and upgrade IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and peripherals. Implementing and managing network security measures, including firewalls and VPNs, will be crucial to ensure secure access to company resources. Additionally, you will provide technical support to users, resolving hardware and software issues, troubleshooting network connectivity problems, and configuring software applications. You will manage and maintain DNS and other network services, using IT management tools to track and resolve technical issues. Collaboration with management will be essential to ensure seamless IT operations and support. Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in IT infrastructure management will be part of your responsibilities, along with performing routine maintenance and upgrades to ensure the integrity and performance of our IT systems.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an IT Technician or in a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware and IT infrastructure, including network protocols and technologies.
  • Experience with relevant technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
