Biz Technology Solutions is seeking a dedicated IT Technician to join our dynamic team in Mooresville, NC. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality technical support to our clients, ensuring their IT systems run smoothly and efficiently. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for both in-office and fieldwork, engaging directly with clients to resolve their technical issues. Your responsibilities will include providing technical support for Windows desktop environments, managing server applications, and troubleshooting various IT issues. You will also be involved in user administration through Active Directory and will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge security solutions. Responsibilities

  • Providing high-quality technical customer support
  • Spending time out in the field at client sites as well as in the office
  • Being on call one week quarterly
  • Performing Windows desktop troubleshooting
  • Setting up and deploying PCs
  • Supporting Windows Server: User additions, password changes, etc.
  • Troubleshooting server applications and managing vendor relationships
  • Changing Fire Share permissions
  • Administering basic O365 tasks
  • Upgrading and installing server applications
  • Administering Active Directory
  • Installing server hardware
  • Troubleshooting wireless connectivity issues
  • Troubleshooting email issues
  • Providing vendor support
  • Working with Threatlocker or SentinelOne

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of direct work experience in IT support
  • Experience in a managed service environment is a plus
  • Networking background
  • EDR and Managed Services-level security experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and transportation
