Club Support Inc. is a Private Corporation dedicated to creating an efficient Computer Environment with daily monitoring and support of the recreational Club community, including Golf clubs, Social clubs, and Professional clubs. Our entrepreneurial, dynamic, and flexible team has been working together for over 10 years, and our consultative approach makes us the go-to team for our clients' IT needs. We offer fully Managed IT Services with affordable custom rates for small and medium-sized businesses. We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and maintaining our client's hardware, software, and network systems. This role involves a combination of technical expertise, excellent customer service, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. The chosen individual will manage communications with clients, visit client sites, install and configure new equipment, and identify computer-related problems. Experience in running cables and working with setting up and mounting new equipment is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Daily monitoring of Clients' IT Environment through remote connectivity
  • Maintaining and updating Client's information database (log calls, visits, reports on troubleshooting, update equipment change)
  • Building and configuring new equipment for the clients
  • Locating troubleshooting resources and effectively escalating issues in a timely manner
  • Implementing data, software and hardware security procedures
  • Communicate with other workers to coordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments
  • Participate in an 'On Call' after hours support rotation
  • Work evenings and weekends occasionally to complete key IT projects that can only be done outside of normal business hours.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and providing support
  • Proficiency in hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • MacOS knowledge is a plus
  • Familiarity with networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • MCSE / MCSA certification is an asset
  • COMPTIA A+ certification is a must
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A valid driver's license and a vehicle is a must
  • Handyman experience would be an asset.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in customer service (5 years preferred)
