Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center is a state-of-the-art, full-service meetings and resort destination that caters to groups of all sizes, as well as families who are looking for a world-class experience in the epicenter of the premier sports and entertainment district in the country. Centrally located between Dallas and Fort Worth, the hotel is situated between iconic sports stadiums, Globe Life Field, home of the 2023 World Series Texas Rangers, and AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. The 888-room resort features five restaurants and lounges, two pools with an authentic sandy beach, cabanas, and a water slide, as well as a fitness center, full-service spa and salon, and 266,000 square feet of meeting and event space. The position is responsible for all Hotel Information Technology Systems, Hardware, and Infrastructure. The individual will perform tasks necessary to ensure the efficient operation, availability, and security of all user endpoints, servers, printers, UPS devices, network devices, and telephony infrastructure. This includes monitoring, analysis, troubleshooting, and corrective actions for operating system and application patching, as well as Anti-Virus protection updates to all property user endpoints and servers. The role also involves providing support for data and telephony device connectivity to an enterprise local and wide area network, which includes IP telephones, printers, cameras, user endpoints, wireless access points, and servers. Additionally, the individual will maintain an accurate, up-to-date inventory of all hardware, software, and licenses, perform local systems backup to ensure all critical data is transferred to backup servers without errors or omissions, and maintain current system images of all server-level endpoints. Restoration on local servers will be required to ensure data is protected and functional. The position also entails providing support for hotel business technologies, including POS, High-Speed Internet, FTG/VOD, Telephony, and PMS interfaces, ensuring maximum uptime of all equipment and services, and maintaining cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment, MDF, IDFs, and work areas. The individual will partner with Regional IT Leadership and Corporate IT Teams for planning and coordination of all IT projects, preventive maintenance, and system upgrades, as well as reviewing IT Operating and Capital Budgets, provisioning user roles, rights, and access to business applications, and ensuring compliance with all Corporate Policy & Procedures and legal requirements related to hardware and software installation, use, and licensing agreements.
