About the position

We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our IT infrastructure, ensuring that all systems run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and end-users.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly and effectively.
• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and computer systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer networking, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Document all technical procedures and solutions in the remedy system for future reference.
• Collaborate with other IT staff to improve system performance and user experience.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on IT equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

Requirements

• Proven experience in technical support or a related IT role.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, including networking principles.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Knowledge of VPN configurations and firewall management is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with users at all levels.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
