The IT Technician role at ManpowerGroup is a vital position within the main distribution center in Litchfield, IL. This role is responsible for providing technical support to both manufacturing and office teams, ensuring smooth operations by addressing software and hardware issues, enhancing the IT infrastructure, and delivering ongoing training and support to users.

Responsibilities

• Respond to software and hardware inquiries, documenting and resolving end-user issues.
• Monitor and troubleshoot voice and data infrastructure, maintain anti-virus systems, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Deliver personalized training sessions on software and hardware tools.
• Act as a liaison with external vendors for efficient hardware and software maintenance.
• Lead IT projects that align with business goals and fiscal responsibilities.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and manage support queues in the Help Desk System.
• Track hardware and software assets, including warranty details.
• Must be available for on-call support 24/7 with flexibility for off-hours maintenance.

Requirements

• 2+ years as an IT Technician or similar role, or an Associate degree in IT.
• Diagnostic, troubleshooting, and communication skills with Microsoft Office proficiency.
• CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, or similar certifications preferred.
