The IT Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining our IT infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of our services. In this position, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, and peripherals. You will provide technical support and troubleshooting for various hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring that our clients receive timely and effective solutions. Your role will also involve analyzing and resolving user problems related to IT infrastructure, including desktop support and network administration. Security is a top priority for us, and you will be tasked with implementing and maintaining firewalls and other security measures to protect our systems. Collaboration is key in our environment, and you will work closely with other IT team members to develop and implement IT projects and initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Analyze and resolve user problems related to IT infrastructure, including desktop support and network administration.
  • Ensure the security of IT systems by implementing and maintaining firewalls and other security measures.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement IT projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role.
  • Fix common workstation issues quickly and effectively.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose common networking issues.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software troubleshooting, and IT infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users.
  • Familiarity with network administration and firewall configuration.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide solutions.
  • Experience in providing technical support in a professional environment.
  • Experience using and managing Active Directory and GPOs.
