About the position

The IT Technician will provide essential support to the service desk, focusing on desktop support, troubleshooting software issues, and ensuring internet connectivity. This role involves working onsite and requires the technician to be proactive in resolving technical issues related to Active Directory and Azure Office 365, while also managing field work assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 and 2 support for O365 and Active Directory.
  • Resolve approximately 10 tickets a day related to desktop support and troubleshooting.
  • Image computers and set up A/V equipment.
  • Support cell phones and assist with any related issues.
  • Assist the networking team during the migration from Meraki to Fortigate.

Requirements

  • Must provide own car and drive to various destinations.
  • Experience with Windows operating systems; strong preference for Mac support.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals including LAN, WAN, Routers, Switches, and TCP/IP.
  • Experience imaging laptops and supporting A/V equipment.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Starlink technology.
  • Familiarity with switches and networking.
