About the position

We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support and a passion for technology. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting various IT systems and services, ensuring seamless operation for all users. The IT Technician will play a crucial role in enhancing our technology infrastructure and providing excellent customer service to our staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware and software issues across the organization.
• Manage and maintain local area networks (LAN) to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for software deployment and updates.
• Assist in the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows Server environments.
• Support mobile devices and VPN connectivity for remote users.
• Analyze system performance and implement improvements as necessary.
• Maintain documentation of IT processes, configurations, and inventory.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical issues.
• Communicate effectively with users to understand their needs and provide solutions.

Requirements

• Proficiency in LAN management and troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCCM for software distribution and management.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and maintenance.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools.
• Understanding of Group Policy Objects (GPO) within Windows environments.
• Competence in managing Windows Server systems effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical staff.
• Ability to analyze problems critically and propose effective solutions.
• Experience with mobile device management and VPN technologies.
