About the position

Power Electronics is seeking an IT Systems Technician (L1) to provide world-class technical support to customers in Houston. This role involves managing IT incidents, configuring computer equipment, and ensuring compliance with information security regulations. The technician will play a crucial role in maintaining the company's IT systems and supporting users effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for incidents or queries made by users, consulting and recording actions in the ticketing system.
• Perform installation and configuration of computer equipment (computers, screens, peripherals, printers, mobile lines).
• Ensure control and perform the registration and deregistration of users in the company's IT systems and platforms.
• Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of videoconferencing systems and other existing systems in the company.
• Control and manage all IT equipment and materials, ensuring proper stock control and traceability.
• Collaborate in the definition and documentation of procedures and protocols for the IT area.
• Carry out tasks assigned by the immediate manager related to the area and other departments to ensure proper work development.
• Ensure compliance with Information Security regulations according to Power Electronics ISMS.
• Comply with the matrix of roles and responsibilities for safety and health in the workplace.

Requirements

• Intermediate and/or Higher Degree in Computer Network Systems.
• Minimum of 2 years working experience in an IT Systems position.
• Fluency in Spanish.
