About the position

The IT Technician role at DiMAX is designed for a motivated professional eager to advance their IT career within a supportive team environment. This full-time position focuses on providing IT support, including network security, VoIP, and cybersecurity services, primarily through on-site assessments and installations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic setting, ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Perform IT, VoIP, cybersecurity, and network security site assessments and configurations.
• Conduct on-site IT, security, and phone system installation projects, including deploying, maintaining, and upgrading computers, phone hardware, servers, cameras, access control devices, and other networking equipment.
• Integrate software and hardware with clients' existing systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Research and determine which products or services best fit the needs of clients.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers to achieve client and company goals.
• Follow up on all commitments made to clients and co-workers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2 or more years of experience in IT systems and network support.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially when working with clients.
• Proficient in multitasking and prioritizing diverse tasks.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with networking best practices, security measures, and various IT environments.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA, Microsoft certifications) are highly desirable.
