About the position
The Technical Project Coordinator role is designed for a junior project manager who will support IT and Telecom projects, particularly in circuit and telco ordering and provisioning. This position requires a strong understanding of technical circuits and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and vendors. The role is primarily onsite in Oakton, VA, and is expected to last for 12 months or more.
Responsibilities
- Support projects and activities related to circuit and telco ordering and provisioning.
- Collaborate with clients and vendors to ensure project success.
- Drive task progress and gather meaningful updates for reporting.
- Maintain organization and resourcefulness in project management tasks.
- Communicate effectively in both oral and written forms with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in an IT/Telecom project coordinator role.
- Basic understanding of technical circuits, ordering, and telco provisioning.
- General understanding of network and data center engineering is desirable.
- Strong work ethic and self-directed initiative.
