About the position

The Junior/Senior Project Manager role involves assisting in the development and management of project plans, coordinating project activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with organizational goals. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while providing regular updates to senior management. This role also includes responsibilities for documentation, research, and fostering relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and management of project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Support senior project managers in coordinating project activities and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and provide updates on progress.
  • Monitor project milestones and deliverables, providing regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Participate in project meetings, documenting minutes and action items, and following up on assigned tasks.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support project decision-making, including feasibility studies and risk assessments.
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including proposals, contracts, and reports.
  • Foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Adhere to all safety and compliance standards, ensuring that projects are executed in accordance with regulations and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in project management or a related role is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing large, complex projects.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and adapt to changing project demands.
