About the position

The IT Test Analyst will be part of the Testing Center of Excellence, supporting a high-performing quality assurance team within a leading retail organization. This role focuses on ensuring the quality of software through effective testing methodologies, including the creation and execution of test scenarios and cases, while also managing test data and communicating testing status to team leads.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Test Scenario and Test Case identification.
• Create and maintain Test Scenarios and Test Cases, including steps and expected results.
• Identify and manage Test Data across test environments.
• Execute Functional Tests and document test execution utilizing HP ALM.
• Effectively communicate issues and risks, along with daily testing status to Team Lead or Test Lead.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience testing Point of Sale systems.
• Experience with systems that integrate with Point-of-Sale systems.
• Experience identifying and writing test scenarios and test cases.
• Experience with HP ALM / Quality Center, JIRA, or other test and defect management tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective documentation and communication abilities.
