About the position

The Digital Technology Services (DTS) Unified Communications (UC) Analyst I at Hackensack Meridian Health plays a crucial role in supporting the business communication needs across the organization. This entry-level position involves collaborating with users to manage and troubleshoot unified communications issues, including software, web conferencing, and mobile device management. The analyst will also research new technologies, coordinate installations, and provide customer support, all while working under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist with analysis, testing, and implementation of new communications-related technologies at HMH.
• Provide end-to-end customer support for UC service requests and incidents, including mobile device configuration and vendor portal management.
• Maintain current knowledge of emerging UC technologies and industry trends.
• Support the restoration of services relating to third-party provider outages in collaboration with UC engineers and infrastructure teams.
• Contribute to documentation in the Knowledge Base, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), work instructions, job aids, and user guides.
• Participate in project management activities as assigned and follow directions.
• Participate in the UC On-Call program.
• Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, IT, Telecommunications, Unified Communications, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in a technical multi-discipline management environment.
• Knowledge and support of mobile devices such as Apple iOS and Android-based smartphones & MiFis.
• Ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Excellent interpersonal, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including Google Suite platforms.
