About the position

Primmer Piper Eggleston & Cramer PC, a dynamic regional law firm with offices in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Washington, DC, is seeking an experienced IT User Support Specialist & Training Associate to provide training and technical support to end-users. This position is based in our Manchester, NH office, with occasional travel to other offices. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, PDF applications, Microsoft Windows, and various virtual meeting platforms. Experience with legal-specific platforms such as document management systems, eDiscovery, and time & billing software is highly preferred. The candidate should have a solid work ethic, strong communication skills at both technical and non-technical levels, a commitment to solution-based support working directly with users, and a desire to learn and grow professionally. The job requires after-hours remote coverage every third week. In this role, you will be responsible for providing level-one and two helpdesk support to end-users regarding application, software, and hardware issues. You will conduct both group and one-on-one training sessions on a variety of productivity software and legal applications. Collaboration with IT team members and HR staff to develop needed training programs is essential. Additionally, you will assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software and hardware components as needed, work collaboratively with IT team members on ongoing IT projects, and ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security protocols. After-hours coverage is required every third week, making flexibility a key component of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide level-one & two helpdesk support to end-users regarding application, software and hardware issues.

Requirements

  • 3 years of IT support experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft 365, PDF applications, and Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to grow professionally
  • Microsoft 365 Certification (Required)
  • College degree preferred

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with legal-specific platforms such as document management systems, eDiscovery, and time & billing software
  • Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert, Microsoft Office Specialist: Expert or equivalent
