About the position

The IT Project Manager will oversee multiple ongoing VEEVA projects, including the integration of CTMS and the transition of Salesforce to Vault. This role is crucial for managing project interdependencies, particularly during CRM transitions, and requires effective communication and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will have a background in life sciences or pharmaceuticals and will be responsible for creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) while ensuring project milestones are met and results are delivered.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery and management of designated projects, including developing implementation plans and coordinating contributions from cross-functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Prepare reports and present results to stakeholders.
  • Ensure that services align with proposed solutions and are delivered within agreed timelines.
  • Create and maintain project plans and necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Regulatory, Quality, Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs, CMC) during the development and delivery of consulting services.
  • Present project updates to key stakeholders and manage their involvement and expectations effectively.
  • Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities within existing client relationships.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure appropriate actions are taken to support existing applications.
  • Understand client strategic needs and support business opportunities by collaborating with relevant SMEs.
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen, focusing on maximizing project value and achieving commercial objectives, including profitability.
  • Create processes and infrastructure (e.g., training materials, process maps, SOPs) to support team expansion.
  • Assist team members with project delivery and research to meet overall group and company objectives.

Requirements

  • Experience in project management, particularly in IT and life sciences or pharmaceuticals.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain project plans and documentation.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and focus on maximizing project value.

Nice-to-haves
