About the position

The IT Vendor Management Manager is responsible for driving, monitoring, and optimizing the performance of IT vendors within HCA's Digital Division. This role will be responsible for vendor contract, performance and financial management, providing reporting and transparency into IT vendor performance KPIs, service and quality levels and recommending process improvements and best practices to minimize risk and optimize performance and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Review of SOWs to ensure milestones, deliverables, SLAs and other terms and obligations from a contractual standpoint are being met.
  • Review SOW renewals and evaluate any opportunities for efficiency improvements, including automation and tooling.
  • Support implementation, adoption, monitoring and training of compliance measures across vendors.
  • Manage vendor performance and ensure SLAs are being tracked and fulfilled by creating and monitoring a vendor dashboard or scorecard.
  • Ensure adherence to SLA violations and determine improvement measures as needed.
  • Support or drive capacity planning and evaluate resourcing levels and mix of onsite/offshore/nearshore.
  • Develop best practices across vendors, cascade out and provide training as necessary.
  • Manage vendor quarterly business reviews.
  • Identify and recommend cost savings and monitor overall financial management of vendors.
  • Coordinate with IT Finance on vendor invoices as needed.
  • Support Infrastructure contract management and drive efforts to establish a similar model on the Application side with an RFP and vendor selection targeted for this year.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience, preferably in the finance and/or IT industry with working knowledge of vendor performance, risk, and contract management principles and tools.
  • Experience implementing vendor scorecards and SLA management tools.
  • Experience in IT incident, availability, and service level management preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced level of expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent active listening skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organization and time/project management skills.
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
  • General knowledge and/or working experience within a global IT organization.
