About the position

Burlington is on an exciting journey to transform the off-price business model with data-driven analytics and insights. This key technology support role will lead in providing Burlington stable and efficient WMS systems across the enterprise and help Burlington continue to be an industry-leading retailer. As an IT WMS Application Analyst, you will be responsible for the overall functional and technical configuration, design, testing, and integration of the Manhattan WMS system with MHE systems. This role serves as a liaison between the Supply Chain business, DC Operations teams, and IT, ensuring that the WMS systems meet the operational needs of the organization. In this position, you will assist in transforming requirements into software design and configuration, preparing flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate the sequence of steps the program must follow and to describe the logical operations involved. You will design user interfaces between the WMS and external systems to accomplish the goals of user requests, analyze and improve supply chain data and processes, and configure, test, troubleshoot, and implement software applications. Additionally, you will modify applications to increase operational efficiency or to satisfy new requirements, and write documentation to describe functional design and logic. Support is a critical aspect of this role, as you will provide assistance for warehouse applications, fixing minor and major issues as they arise. You will work closely with the business to provide short-term workarounds and long-term solutions to production problems, promoting a positive image and inter-business relationships with business partners and vendors. Furthermore, you will lead projects of medium to large size and complexity, providing direction to project team members on issues of technology, implementation, and support, while following the SDLC and SOX, Regulatory, and Security best practices to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles with expertise in Warehouse Management Processes.
  • End to End Functional knowledge in implementing Manhattan Warehouse Management System.
  • 5 or more years of experience in Manhattan WM Open Systems (WMS 2018 or higher) required.
  • Expertise in Configuration and different Functional areas of WMS - like inbound, outbound etc.
  • 2+ years of experience in integrating Manhattan WMS system with Host ERP, external Reporting, TMS/YMS, and MHE Systems.
  • Experience in Manhattan WM Active version and other Manhattan products like LM, TMS, and SCI is an added advantage.
  • Oracle SQL/PL experience; any experience in Unix, Java is advantageous.
  • Good oral and written skills; may train others in functional area and interact with others across the company and/or externally.
