About the position

This remote position provides governance and oversight to the IT Asset Management (ITAM) Program, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and risk management strategies. The role involves analyzing complex aspects of the ITAM program, evaluating its effectiveness, and identifying improvement opportunities while collaborating with various stakeholders. The individual will serve as an ITAM governance partner and subject matter expert, establishing and maintaining supporting procedures and job aids.

Responsibilities

  • Provides governance and oversight to aligned ITAM domain's processes.
  • Ensures published policy, standard, procedures, controls and operating metrics are current and aligned to regulatory requirements.
  • Identifies and helps implement necessary updates to published documents.
  • Establishes practices to perform sample testing of domain controls.
  • Partners with domain to resolve any improvement opportunities.
  • Sources, compiles, and interprets data for advanced data analysis.
  • Produces reports based on data analysis, industry trends, and process capabilities.
  • Conveys patterns, problems, and areas of improvement through reporting.
  • Prepares or assists with documentation, including leading presentations for domains and technology partners.
  • Leads by example, mentoring and educating ITAM team members and technology partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Analytics, Modeling or Reporting OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Analytics, Modeling or Reporting.
  • 10 years' experience in ITAM/Proven IT Asset Management knowledge, including working experience of ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, and/or Configuration Management modules.
  • Familiarity with FFIEC and ITAM frameworks such as ITIL, NIST, and COBIT.
  • Experience with defining, drafting, and implementing ITAM policies, standards, controls, and metrics, including control testing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail and ability to assess processes from a risk perspective.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.

  • Experience with Archer is a plus.
  • Experience with Jira is a plus.
  • Financial institution experience is a plus.
