About the position

The ITPA11 DevSecOps Developer position within the Department of Technology, Management, and Budget (DTMB) focuses on supporting the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) by implementing best practices for application lifecycle management. The role emphasizes automation in continuous integration and delivery processes using Azure DevOps, ensuring project security, and managing web applications' configuration and security throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Implement best practices for application lifecycle management using Azure DevOps.
  • Support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
  • Develop and manage branching strategies for projects.
  • Conduct automated code reviews and testing.
  • Assist in the configuration and management of web applications using IIS.
  • Ensure security measures are in place for web applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 21 semester credits in relevant fields such as computer science or IT project management.
  • Associate's degree with 16 semester credits and two years of relevant experience may substitute for the education requirement.
  • High school diploma with four years of relevant experience may substitute for the education requirement.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD processes.
  • Knowledge of web application security best practices.
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
