About the position

The ITPA11 DevSecOps Developer position within the Department of Technology, Management, and Budget (DTMB) focuses on supporting the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) by implementing best practices for application lifecycle management. The role emphasizes automation in CI/CD processes, project security, and the management of web applications, requiring a self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Implement best practices for application lifecycle management using Azure DevOps.
  • Support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
  • Manage and secure web applications using IIS on web servers.
  • Assist in the configuration and setup of applications during all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Automate code review and testing processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 21 semester credits in computer science, data processing, or related fields.
  • Associate's degree with 16 semester credits in relevant fields and two years of experience as an application programmer or technician.
  • High school diploma with four years of experience in relevant IT roles.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with project management methodologies.
