About the position

The ITS Application Analyst II position at Hartford HealthCare involves providing application and technical support for information systems, focusing on optimization projects and system upgrades. The role requires collaboration with the Heart & Vascular Institute and Informatics Team to design, analyze, build, test, and support assigned applications, ensuring effective resolution of application/process design issues.

Responsibilities

  • Builds and maintains assigned applications and interfaces.
  • Participates in test script development and execution.
  • Conducts testing for assigned applications.
  • Coordinates vendor support for functional and technical support of applications, interfaces, and equipment.
  • Participates in training and development of staff and users as assigned.
  • Provides customer response and updates according to current policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Attends all mandatory education and training programs and describes responsibilities related to safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Follows hospital exposure control plans and maintains professional attire and cleanliness.
  • Reports to work on time and meets acceptable attendance standards.
  • Communicates messages clearly and concisely.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Four to six years of related experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Epic modules - Radiant certified/proficient with a minimum of six months experience as an ITS Analyst.
  • Working knowledge of state and federal healthcare information technology laws and regulations.
  • Ability to multi-task and operate various office machines including printers and computers.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
