About the position

The ITSM Change/Release Manager is responsible for overseeing the change and release management processes within the organization. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of ITIL ITSM practices to support daily operations. The position involves working with cloud-based technologies such as AWS and Azure, and requires a proactive approach to identifying improvements and optimizing processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive the solution, refine, and optimize processes related to change and release management.
• Facilitate conversations with large groups of remote people.
• Identify process improvements and communicate them verbally and in writing.
• Build effective working relationships with peers and internal business partners.
• Adapt to changes in processes and practices while following established procedures.
• Handle and prioritize tasks and time efficiently.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a similar operational role with technical capability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience in data analysis and trending with the ability to identify improvements and actions.
• Understanding of ITIL ITSM practices to support day-to-day operations.
• Proven ability to quickly understand sophisticated systems.
• Diligent with the ability to follow processes and procedures.
• Ability to rapidly absorb and understand complex technical situations.
