About the position

The ITSM Change/Release Manager at Fidelity TalentSource plays a crucial role in ensuring the stability of Fidelity's production environment by managing ITSM Change Management processes. This position requires a highly motivated individual who can effectively communicate with leadership and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The role involves collaborating with various teams to assess and execute changes, ensuring that standardized methods are used to improve service quality and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ITSM Change Management support for Fidelity's Production environment.
  • Execute ITSM Change Management processes to ensure production stability.
  • Review and assess the content of change requests for required details.
  • Participate in change review and Change Advisory Board meetings.
  • Facilitate and oversee systems installation, code deployment, and infrastructure changes.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of change implementation efforts.
  • Communicate change activities to management and business areas.
  • Identify and recommend actions if changes are not proceeding as documented.
  • Collaborate with Incident and Problem Management teams.
  • Work with multi-functional teams globally and across cultural boundaries.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a similar operational role with technical capability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience in data analysis and trending to identify improvements.
  • Understanding of ITIL ITSM practices to support operations.
  • Ability to quickly understand complex systems and processes.
  • Diligent in following processes and procedures.
  • Proven ability to adapt to changes in processes and practices.
  • Ability to facilitate conversations with large groups remotely.
  • Strong task and time management skills.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with peers and internal partners.

  • Experience in a financial services environment.
