About the position

Innova Solutions is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to build and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity across various platforms. The role involves significant hands-on work with AWS and other cloud technologies, focusing on data processing and analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering methodologies and tools, with a proven ability to work in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines using AWS services.
• Collect, analyze, and resolve data quality issues.
• Attend Agile ceremonies and collaborate with team members.
• Extract data from relational databases and JSON files using ETL processes.
• Implement data governance and security practices.
• Work with data streaming technologies such as Kafka and Kinesis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 8+ years of experience with cloud data and analytics platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• 5+ years of experience with SQL, ETL, ELT, and data warehousing concepts.
• 3+ years of experience with general IT concepts including integrations and CI/CD.
• Strong coding skills in Python, Pyspark, and SQL.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with DevOps tools and techniques (e.g., Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence and dimensional modeling.
• Experience in handling unstructured streaming data.
