About the position

The Project Manager 3 position at Innova Solutions is a contract role focused on leading digital products to market through an Agile development process. The role is responsible for ensuring that new products meet customer requirements, program goals, timelines, and budgets. This position allows for a hybrid work schedule, requiring three or more days onsite each week in Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities

  • Lead digital products to market through an Agile development process.
  • Create program scope, objectives, and risk assessments in collaboration with management and business leaders.
  • Ensure requirements align with program objectives by working closely with Product Managers and Product Owners.
  • Anticipate issues and drive countermeasures to ensure programs meet intended objectives.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of program personnel to ensure programs progress on schedule and within budget.
  • Resolve people and team dynamic issues for effective program team performance.
  • Manage intra-program dependencies and their interrelationships, and their impact upon other programs and projects.
  • Schedule and lead timely status review meetings.
  • Escalate issues and mitigation recommendations to upper management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a similar technical discipline.
  • At least 7 years of experience in project management, product management, or software development.
  • Experience leading and managing Agile development teams supporting enterprise applications of 50,000+ users.
  • PMP Certification is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with change management is preferred.

  • Experience managing enterprise applications with 50,000+ users using Agile development processes from concept to production.
  • Knowledge of software development project metrics.
  • Business and financial acumen, with experience in business case development and scenario planning.
  • Proven ability to integrate business, marketing, and technical elements of new product development programs.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience with project management software.
