About the position

The IVR Application Developer role is a senior position within the Customer Service Team, focused on designing, developing, and supporting advanced IVR applications. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive experience in software development and telephony systems integration to enhance customer service operations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support advanced IVR applications.
  • Integrate telephony systems with other computer systems using protocols such as SOAP, VXML, SQL, XML, and REST.
  • Interpret and troubleshoot SIP-based VoIP traffic and integrate dissimilar SIP telephony systems.
  • Understand and apply knowledge of PBX architecture and telecommunication network services.
  • Analyze contact center operations, including key metrics and workforce management needs.
  • Manage and develop speech recognition systems and grammars.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in software development, particularly in object-oriented programming languages.
  • Experience with web services and cross-system communication protocols.
  • Knowledge of PBX architecture and telecommunication network services.
  • Ability to interpret and troubleshoot SIP-based VoIP traffic.
  • Strong understanding of contact center operations and workforce management.
  • Experience with speech recognition systems and grammars.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working knowledge of Genesys Cloud.
