About the position

The IWMS/CADD Specialist will oversee and maintain the District's Web Central Computer-Aided Facility Management and Integrated Workplace Management System, which includes ARCHIBUS, Autodesk AutoCAD, and Autodesk Revit. Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the Facilities and Space Planning database.
  • Develop and maintain space management plans and data.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
  • Maintain facility equipment drawings and data.
  • Provide training on the use of the software.
  • Oversee and manage the as-built files and master floor plans.
  • Manage Room Number Plans.
  • Create and maintain Architectural, Furniture, Program Equipment, & M-E-P Plans.
  • Develop and maintain Site Utility & Easement Plans.
  • Assist with Emergency Management & Safety Plans.
  • Provide information on the planning, research, and implementation of projects.
  • Develop and enforce CADD standards for construction and remodel projects.
  • Develop and maintain exterior and underground utility plans for future project planning.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Interior Design; Construction; 3D Modeling).
  • Minimum of five years of experience with CADD and Archibus.
  • At least two years of Revit experience.
  • Competent in the use of office productivity systems and databases.
  • Exceptional verbal/written communication, mediation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to effective team building and development of personnel.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and direction.
  • Ability to maintain/manage an efficient, well-organized work area.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment by prioritizing tasks and projects.
  • Ability to understand and meet critical deadlines.
  • Strong flexibility, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to anticipate needs, be resourceful, and build strong employee partnerships.
  • Ability to manage heavy workload and work outside of regular work schedule for special projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to consistently deliver superior customer service and work quality.
