About the position

As a Client Service Associate at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, you will be part of a dynamic and inclusive team dedicated to providing exceptional service to clients. This role involves leading a team of Investment Professionals, ensuring high-quality interactions across various client segments, and fostering a positive work environment. You will also engage in employee development and process improvement initiatives, contributing to both client satisfaction and team success.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for customer service issues.
  • Create an outstanding employee experience and a winning culture.
  • Manage day-to-day employee activities including coaching, time keeping, performance management, and recognition.
  • Strategically schedule and manage the floor to meet service levels.
  • Handle client calls periodically to maintain product and procedure knowledge.
  • Act as an expert for internal systems and processes.
  • Conduct call observations to review service quality.
  • Foster and develop partnerships across the enterprise.
  • Participate in working groups for various projects or pilot programs to drive process improvement.
  • Engage in monthly self-development activities.
  • Act as a delegate for certain manager duties and partner closely with Wealth Management teams.

Requirements

  • FINRA SIE, Series 7 and 63 (or equivalent) required, along with meeting FINRA continuing education requirements.
  • Strong compliance record in previous positions and ability to hold registration in all 50 states.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
  • Strong business and investment acumen, including knowledge of Investment Products and Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs).
  • Effective client profiling and discussion techniques, active listening skills, and the ability to explain complex concepts simply.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2-3 years of experience in financial services, preferably in investment-related roles with a focus on customer service and support.
  • Proven experience in a leadership capacity, with the ability to motivate individuals and teams.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills, highly professional, and experienced in creating and presenting information.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business management, economics, or a related area.
