About the position

Morgan Murphy Media is seeking recent journalism school graduates for the position of Multi-Media Journalist as part of their newly developed J365 program. This intensive developmental program is designed to provide essential learning blocks for a successful career in journalism. Winning candidates will engage in a monthly curriculum of training modules focused on reporting and individual career development. As part of KOAM TV, a CBS affiliate station located in Joplin, MO/Pittsburg, KS, the Multi-Media Journalist will contribute to breaking news, investigative reporting, and accurate forecasts, ensuring that KOAM's coverage remains a vital resource for the community it serves. The station is dedicated to local sports and has a strong commitment to serving families in the Four State Area, where Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma meet.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a monthly curriculum of training modules focused on reporting and career development.

Requirements
