About the position

The JA Finance Park Program Manager oversees the operations of the JA Finance Park facility, ensuring a high-quality experiential learning experience for middle and high school students. This role involves managing a team of part-time associates, coordinating with volunteers, and ensuring the safety and security of all participants. The manager will also be responsible for program fidelity and the effective delivery of financial literacy education, while supporting the regional and national sharing of best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage the JA Finance Park facility and simulation.
• Provide exceptional management of operations within the JA Finance Park facility, including supervising and training associates.
• Steward constituents visiting JA Finance Park, including volunteers, school staff, and students.
• Serve as the simulation software lead, conducting improvements and updates, ensuring daily readiness, and interfacing with JA USA.
• Assure program quality through daily engagement in the simulation and provide feedback to maintain program fidelity.
• Create and manage staffing calendar and work plans.
• Conduct weekly briefings with part-time associates and ensure effective delivery of all daily trainings.
• Cross-train in all facility roles and maintain connectedness to daily simulation by taking on peer roles, including serving as a volunteer and conducting teacher training.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years' experience working with secondary school-aged students.
• 3+ years' experience in a supervisory role.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer-service mindset.
• Ability to be flexible with hours.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Must pass a federal background check and work in the presence of children.
