About the position

The Team Leader at Jack in the Box is responsible for training and leading team members to deliver an exceptional guest experience. This includes ensuring food quality, compliance with company standards, and maintaining a clean and friendly environment. The Team Leader acts as the first-line operational supervisor, modeling behaviors that align with guest expectations and coaching team members to meet those standards.

Responsibilities

• Train and lead team members in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Ensure compliance with Jack in the Box procedures, systems, and standards.
• Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring it meets company standards.
• Model and coach team members on maintaining cleanliness and organization in the restaurant.
• Handle guest complaints and ensure positive resolutions.
• Supervise and train team members on workstation operations and guest service.
• Conduct onboarding and training for new employees.
• Manage cash handling and ensure accountability during shifts.

Requirements

• 6 months of consecutive experience at Jack in the Box or 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Completion of Team Leader training classes.
• ServSafe certification may be required in certain states.
• Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English.
