About the position

The Team Leader at Jack in the Box is responsible for supervising and training team members to ensure an exceptional guest experience. This role involves maintaining food quality, compliance with company standards, and fostering a positive work environment. The Team Leader acts as a first-line operational supervisor, guiding the team in delivering great service and adhering to Jack in the Box procedures.

Responsibilities

• Train and lead team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Ensure compliance with Jack in the Box procedures, systems, and standards.
• Monitor food quality and presentation to meet company standards.
• Model and coach team members on guest service expectations and hospitality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant interior and exterior.
• Assist with order taking and cashiering during busy times.
• Conduct onboarding and training for new employees.
• Handle guest complaints and ensure positive resolutions.
• Manage the floor and coordinate team resources effectively.

Requirements

• 6 months of consecutive experience at Jack in the Box or 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old and complete Team Leader training classes.
• Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English; bilingual skills may be required based on location.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse groups.
• Basic math skills and ability to perform calculations accurately.
• Self-starter with initiative and responsibility.
• Basic knowledge of personal computers and related software applications.
