About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team at All Over Janitorial Services, Inc. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role emphasizes a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, adhering to both commercial and industrial cleaning standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to ensure floors are well-maintained and presentable.
• Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to management.
• Carry out custodial duties in various settings including commercial buildings, industrial sites, and residential areas as needed.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored; maintain equipment in good working condition.
• Follow safety protocols while performing cleaning tasks to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Requirements

• Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation is beneficial.
• Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in all assigned areas.
• Familiarity with floor care methods including buffing, stripping, and waxing is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing maintenance or repair.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills to interact positively with team members and facility occupants.
