About the position

The Janitorial Account Manager is responsible for overseeing the management, performance, and profitability of multiple janitorial service accounts within a designated region. This role focuses on ensuring consistent service delivery, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency while leading a team of account managers and operations staff. The position requires strategic decision-making to drive business growth and maintain high standards of service.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage a team of account managers, site supervisors, and janitorial staff across multiple locations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Ensure the effective and efficient delivery of janitorial services across all accounts within the region.
  • Manage the regional budget, including labor costs, supply expenses, and other operational costs.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for expanding services within existing accounts and acquiring new business.
  • Ensure all operations comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the janitorial or facilities services industry.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing multiple locations or accounts.
  • Strong client relationship management skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and driving profitability.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective operational strategies.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with industry-specific software (e.g., WinTeam) is a plus.
