About the position
The position involves comprehensive cleaning of assigned locations within the airport, ensuring adherence to client specifications and company standards. The role requires active participation in safety management and maintaining a positive image while interacting with clients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Thorough cleaning of assigned locations including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning restrooms, and maintaining cleanliness of immediate work areas.
- Cleaning of jet bridges, break rooms, ticket counters, office spaces, and other customer locations as directed.
- Reporting supply needs to the supervisor and maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Familiarity with FAA, TSA, Airline, and Company regulations is required.
- Projecting a positive image and responding courteously to inquiries from airlines, staff, and the public.
- Attending meetings and in-services as required and utilizing appropriate communication channels.
- Adhering to company policies and procedures and participating in the achievement of company objectives.
- Complying with all safety requirements and using equipment only after proper training.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have reliable telephone and transportation.
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and carry out instructions in English.
- Must be able to verbally direct in English.
- Must be a citizen of the United States or possess necessary authorization from the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS).
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
- Must have good hearing and vision.
