Responsibilities

• Dust/damp wipe furniture, desks, tables, ledges, window sills, and external surfaces of cupboards and shelves.
• Clean lunchroom/kitchen areas where applicable.
• Maintain cleaning inventory and place orders for new products when needed.
• Keep supply area organized and clean.
• Empty waste bins and recycling bins, transporting them to designated collection points.
• Replenish consumable items such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels as required.
• Vacuum carpets and walk-off mats, including edges and behind furniture.
• Mop floors with wet or damp mops.
• Maintain and clean restrooms, including mirrors, toilets, urinals, hand basins, and sinks.
• Clean all entrance glass, inside and out, to remove smudges and fingerprints.
• Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions.

Requirements

• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of various cleaning products and their appropriate use.
• Understanding of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners.
• Ability to clean and disinfect various surfaces.
• Good organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license issued by the state of employment.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods.
