About the position

The Janitorial Crew Lead at Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is responsible for overseeing a team of janitorial staff in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that customer needs are met and that services are performed to company standards. This part-time position involves providing direction, conducting quality control inspections, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients during assigned shifts. The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and teamwork to maintain a clean and healthy operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to crew in a fast-paced environment.
• Meet customer needs and exceed expectations during assigned shifts.
• Conduct daily quality control inspections.
• Interact with clients to provide professional and prompt customer service.
• Coordinate tasks for assigned crew members.
• Ensure crew members understand their responsibilities under company policies.
• Collaborate with crew to ensure successful execution of daily operations.
• Assist Supervisor or Zone Manager with new hires and training.
• Motivate crew members and provide support and clarity.
• Lead by example and ensure team members have the necessary tools to perform their jobs.

Requirements

• Experience in janitorial services or a related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of safety and quality control standards.
