About the position

ESFM is seeking a Janitorial Manager to provide primary support in ensuring ideal workflow and exceptional service within our facilities. This role is crucial in establishing and reviewing standards and work procedures for all staff in accordance with the established policies and practices of the facility. The Janitorial Manager will direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs while maintaining excellent relationships with clients and customers. This position is designed for an individual who is committed to promoting professional growth and development among associates, ensuring client and customer satisfaction, and managing resources effectively to achieve cost-effective management. The Janitorial Manager will coordinate the tasks of the subordinate supervisory and management team through regular communication, ensuring that all team members are aligned with the operational goals. This role requires a strong work ethic, intense drive, and initiative for quality and customer service. The successful candidate will possess excellent stress management skills, administrative and organizational skills, and the ability to follow through with associates and clients. Proficiency in Windows-based office software, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is preferred. Responsibilities

  • Establish and review standards and work procedures for all staff in accordance with established policies and practices of the facility.
  • Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs while maintaining excellent relationships with clients and customers.
  • Assist in ensuring client and customer satisfaction and efficient cost-effective management.
  • Promote the professional growth and development of all associates.
  • Coordinate the tasks of the subordinate supervisory and management team via regular communication.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, Associate's degree required; or equivalent and relevant experience.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Strong work ethic, intense drive, and initiative for quality and customer service.
  • Excellent stress management skills, administrative and organizational skills, and follow-through skills required.
  • Able to communicate effectively with management team, guests, and team members.
  • Proficient in the use of Windows-based office software including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
