About the position

The Janitorial Supervisor at the Occupational Training Center is responsible for overseeing janitorial staff, ensuring compliance with contract terms, and providing training and support to both disabled and non-disabled employees. This role involves managing daily operations, maintaining quality control, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance in all tasks related to custodial services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise all assigned personnel to ensure proper execution of tasks as defined by contract terms.
• Participate in scheduled training and comply with company and safety guidelines.
• Provide technical training on equipment and safety information to laborers and client workers.
• Communicate timely and factually with appropriate contract and staff members.
• Complete required paperwork such as vehicle inspection checklists and time study documents.
• Transport individuals with disabilities to and from work assignments during shifts.
• Report maintenance needs of vehicles and follow cleaning schedules.
• Maintain quality control of all assigned buildings and manage key control of issued keys.
• Monitor employee work attire and cooperate with inspections from relevant agencies.
• Perform any other assigned duties related to regulations outlined in the Statement of Work.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in janitorial services.
• Ability to supervise both disabled and non-disabled staff.
• Strong managerial, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable record.
• Satisfactory Federal and/or State Criminal History Report.
• Successful completion of drug screening.
