About The Position

We are looking to hire an Area Supervisor with 5 years of experience in janitorial services to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that all daily and periodic tasks are completed to the highest standards and according to schedule. Additionally, the Area Supervisor will address customer requests promptly to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while adhering to required standards. Have to be bilingual, have the ability to handle a smartphone, knowledge of Floormen, know strip and wax, and carpet extraction.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in janitorial services.
• Bilingual.
• Ability to handle a smartphone.
• Knowledge of Floormen.
• Knowledge of strip and wax.
• Knowledge of carpet extraction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor work assignments and schedules of team employees.
• Assist in the hiring, on-boarding, and training of new/replacement employees.
• Review and Submit Timesheets for the locations.
• Maintain detailed records and compile written reports as scheduled and/or needed.
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections; monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, supplies, and equipment.
• Act as the conduit of information between management and front-line staff.
• Track equipment and supply inventory.
• Submit employee personnel and customer requests or issues to the Area Manager.
• Provide corrective action recommendations on areas that need improvement.
• Daily inspection of routine work and perform building inspections.
• Report any building deficiencies to Area Manager.
