About the position

The Zone Manager at Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is responsible for overseeing customer and vendor relationships within a designated area, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction. This role involves managing operations in a fast-paced environment, conducting audits, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. The Zone Manager will also be involved in staffing, project management, and emergency response, contributing to the overall success of the facility services provided by KBS.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer and vendor relationships for assigned accounts within the zone.
• Perform monthly/quarterly visits with customer district and regional management to ensure satisfaction.
• Conduct audits and submit reports for accounts as prescribed in the portfolio.
• Ensure buildings are properly supplied and equipped, responding to service calls within 2 hours.
• Create and maintain delivery plans, sourcing and scheduling vendors as needed.
• Submit project dates to the head office by required deadlines.
• Provide backup crew work in emergency situations.

Requirements

• 3 years of management experience in the janitorial or building maintenance/service industry, or related fields.
• Ongoing knowledge of compliance standards (OSHA, State/Federal, and KBS).
• Experience in maintaining staffing levels in support of defined budgets and customer relations.
• Ability to analyze profit and loss (P&L) statements to ensure budget compliance.
• Understanding of project management and related planning, with effective communication of changes and progress.
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and ensure service levels are met.
• Experience managing the staff employment cycle, including hiring, training, and performance management.
