About The Position
The Janitorial position at UFC Gym is crucial for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the entire facility, which includes the gym, offices, Kids Club, and Juice Bar. The role involves a variety of housekeeping duties that ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all members and staff. The janitor will be responsible for cleaning windows, glass doors, and mirrors, as well as wiping down equipment, doors, and floors on a regular basis. Daily tasks include emptying trash receptacles, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors, and shampooing carpets as needed. The janitor will also be tasked with dusting and cleaning exercise equipment, disinfecting toilets, shower stalls, and changing areas, and promptly picking up any debris or spills. In addition to these cleaning duties, the janitor will restock supplies in locker rooms and toilets, maintain food preparation areas, and ensure that all cleaning equipment is kept in good condition. The role also requires cleaning all MMA areas, including mats, octagons, and bags, changing light bulbs, and reporting any maintenance issues to management. The janitor will respond to member requests and complaints, complete checklists and logs, and perform other duties as assigned. This position requires a proactive approach to cleanliness and safety, ensuring that the gym remains a welcoming space for all members.
